So, here's my Label Tulip projects for May in all their splendid glory...
This was a project inspired by a class taught by my dear friend Tina a few years ago. I needed a new garden journal after all these years, and decided to make another one with a few different touches. It's such a simple little book-binding project, and thought it would be something fun to teach over at Label Tulip. So, there will be an online tutorial offered on May 27th. Check out the front page at LT for more details! Moving on...
My next addition to the family canvas collection. This month's kit goodies were so boy-centric...it undoubtedly had to be a canvas for Luka. Next...
Actually, there was a lot of focus on Luka this month. Not that I don't love the ladies in my life. This kit just had so much yummy boy stuff in it! I freakin' ADORE that Cosmo Cricket Mr. Roboto paper! It was one of those papers I was terrified to cut up for fear that I wouldn't do it justice. Anyway, I managed to work through the fear and this is a memory box that I made to keep all of his baby and childhood keepsakes in. Right now, it has his hospital bracelets, coming-home outfit, ultrasound pictures and some locks from his first haircut in it:
A LO of my mom in her wedding dress from way back in the day when she married my dad. If I remember correctly, her mother made that dress. You can't tell from the picture, but it was green. Green with white daisies. For a wedding dress. A little odd, but SOOOO... 70's-ish, don't you think? Love it! It is actually my first attempt at going through boxes full of old family photos, and getting them glued down alongside some pretties.
What else, what else? Oh! We were lucky enough to get the fabulous Maria Grace Abuzman as our guest designer this month. You can check out LT for her original LO that we had to lift. Here's my version:
And, finally, our challenge for this month was repetition. I've been diggin' on some circles lately. Can you tell?
I guess that's about it for this month. Fabulous kit, once again. But, isn't it always?

your LT layouts are fantastic! i'm pretty much speechless. wow :)
I LOVE all this. You are one talented chick. No lie!
I seriously hope you don't feel like you have to take this blog down, but if you do, please keep in touch. So happy to have met you in bloggyland it would be so sad to lose you to all the crap that goes down in the internet world.
It's hard sometimes... I want to just vent my heart out some days on my blog but I pretty much have to keep it as vague as I can to just avoid all the crap.
I just don't get, where do people find the time to be so hateful? And why do they want to spend the time doing it when there are so many better things to do? That's just never made sense to me. If you don't like what you see or read then don't look at it/read it anymore. Why is that so hard for some people??
lol, sorry, I'm venting now! just been dealing with this myself a bit!
you're awesome - don't even let anyone make you think otherwise!
